Thought these may help anyone doing a resto of a HL, there are plenty more pics where these came from :)

I hadn't noticed before they have clubman bumpers! I've also never driven an automatic anything before, it's weird without a clutch! Such an amazing mini though!

Don't worry I put it back and Vern is sticking with me :-

Isn't the badge in the wrong place on the grille?

I thought this but it's the same way up as the badge on the steering wheel!

Picky crowd!

The press photo is either a left hand drive or has been flipped. I promise the badges haven't been touched since it was bought from the dealership, the mini has the same very very careful owners from new. If there are any problems with this original mini's details (except seat throws/ random paperwork in door pockets/bins/ mats/ keyring) for you I suggest you contact Dr. Who and get him to sort it out at the time of production, thanks in advance.

Cheers Saz!

Nice to get a positive response, really makes you wonder if it's worth the effort sometimes.

Ahhhh I see what you mean. I just thought that the austin rover badges where the other way up.

Sorry if I came over a bit picky :) but I wasn't as I was only joking :-.

Looks gorgeous though, nice to see an orignal HL!!

Its worth every effort! I love seeing immaculate minis and its a stunner. :) It looks similar to a city i'd seen advertised just before I got Lily, very similar colour I think..

The badge is a bit off-putting but I love this car. Its nice when you see examples that haven't been messed with, and a clean interior too!
That press photo is left hand drive, spot the filler cap.
