Nice to get a positive response, really makes you wonder if it's worth the effort sometimes.

its definitely worth the effort

stunning example of a mini, its really good to see these bog standard cars, even if they do have a dodgy badge on them, because that's what BL did back then, just look at the dodgy seat covers . i guess they must have been going for the "little old lady" section of the market back then.

as more and more standard cars like this are found the more people are educated on the true spec of the factory models.

Hmmmmm I fear Vern may have to get some original friends in the future! It may be an old ladies style mini to some folks but I really do like the colour and the trim.

other than that the HL looks pretty much exactly like mine but with less dents and less rust (I dont have alot of that either)

and obviously the colour
