Well Tommy when I first finished mine I had the same tyres as you and got rid of them and put on Yokohama 048R medium compound. They were soooooo much better. Just a quick run around the block would have them with noticeable heat in them! After a decent run i came back and put it in the garage, next time i got it out it had stuck to the painted floor!
Was this yours Chris?

Hi,
here are the regs for the sprint which includes timings:

Should be a really good day, interspersed with the regular classes, have several championships including TVR's, Lotus on Track, Caterham Academy (always good for some spills...) and the big British Sprint Champs single seaters which are well worth seeing. Should be a fair few minis as well!

Can anyone tell me; is it me or are them Yokohama A539's total poo. Even when they were hot on the airfield near me yesterday they still don't get sticky. What is a good sticky road going tyre please? I'm not bothered if it wears out in 500 miles i just want grip and it has to be road legal to sprint in the class i'm in.
You need som Avon ACB10's, i just happened to have 4 new ones for sale, see you at oulton

A couple of other nice cars from the day
And does anyone know exactly what this is? One of these with a turbo busa in the back ala Z-cars would be sweet!!

Couple of nice rear engined cars there.... the renault is an '8' Gordini, don't know much about them other than it was pretty slow and runs some pretty extreme camber at the rear. Probably room for a bike engine at each end too!
