update:
no dents in the roof
just loads of filler
i tryed my best
still that flipping big one on the side of the roof though. guna be triky, hard to get to, needs a dent puller

original........how about 1275 with triple webber carb unit, wider by nearly half a foot on each side, lowered, stripped out, nitros, full racing spec seats and belts, O.Z racing alloys, and blower......and painted bright yellow

And ORIGINAL style Designer - with no mods at all.... could be worth up to a whopping £5k (Insurance value). I know, Monty is. You stick body kids and other random kibble on it and you kill that value straight off and kill quite a rare Mini in the process. It'd be a damned shame.

But she's your car....and I'm a purist. *Shrugs* In the end, it's your decision what you do to her.

Yes "FIVE GRAND" but that's for a near-mint example I also know someone with an immaculate, multi-trophy winning White Designer valued at £8k... but that car's ridiculously tidy and her owner is totally obsessed with her. My Monty has to work for his living unfortunately.

Designers are one of the most unloved ltd editions to my knowledge, there are very few original ones left. That's why I always advise fellow Designer owners to keep theirs standard... there's money to be made if you ever sell him/her! There's nothing wrong with an orange Mini.... it's your Mini after all. At least you kept the seats and didn't do anything 'daft' like Zeemax it!

Unfortunately I don't have her any more , had to sell her to get something more reliable but once you own a Mini you can't get rid of the bug. That's why I've got my project, can't wait till she's finished.

We can only do so much... I told Joe pretty much everything you could need to know about the 'pedigree' Milly has. She's his to do with as he may though, so while we may sulk about the apparent 'death' of a Designer, I'm not going to hold it against him. *Sighs* At least he seems set on not Zeemaxing her though and a dash is a forgivable addition.
