Cog drive? Im tempted as MED have just re engineered it. Its a Slark (I think) idea, but they used to rattle themselves apart. Steve at MED has found the reason and its because the teeth of the idler gear bottomed out on the cam and crank sprockets. He has now designed a new tooth profile and apparently its good. Although I doubt its had much testing. Also it will transmit a lot of harmonics from the crank to the valve train which aint good at very high revs. A chain will be slightly better than this as it has a little slack in it, a belt is best to eliminate harmonics but Ive just taken the belt drive off to save weight of my reciprocating mass
