Ah what the hell. SOME laws are there to be broken. Not like doing 159mph and endangering everybodies life on that road(like the old bill regulary does) but making my car look better with out hurting anybody must surely be ok.

The plates are only really illegal because their machines can't read them to check for tax and stuff.. couldn't they just type in the plates themselves.

Some day people will realise that laws are there not to be broken, take the example of the number plate... Your Child is hit by a hit and run merchant, with an incorrectly licensed vehicle, and you are unable to take the number because of that.

Ok thats a fair point but you want to tell the police that too. Am I not wrong?

Why dont they convert all old cars to white and yellow plates then. I recon theres no difference in terms of clarity of numbers and letters.

One quick thing though, as Im a responsible driver Id never ever leave a scene of an accident or any other kind of inciddent hence this is why Ive fit them.

I always thought black and white was clearer than anything else too :w00t:

basicaly if you have a vehicle registerd befor 01/01/1973, u can have black/silver plates, however if your vehicle was manufacterd before this date but registerd after and u can prove it eg. getting a Heritage Cirtificate from Gaydon, u can have a Tax Exempt car and black/Silver plates.
