Hi,
Just thought I would introduce myself on the forum after some kind / interested people left a flyer on my car! Not sure when they left it there but I live just outside Faversham and my neighbour saw 3 minis parked up looking at the car so I guess it was them.
Rough specs on car are as follows:-
White H reg
1399cc Rear engined rear drive. (It does stick out)
185 BHP
6 speed sequential
550 kg
Stack Display
Custom cage
Cobra seats and TRS harnesses
(Been sat there a little while as I need to replace the throttle cable, could do with a damn good clean)
Regards,
Richard

Yea, that was Dom, Jod, and Neil with Jen. I've noticed your car before when I've used Bailey and Liddle on the industrial estate just round the corner from you! Dom said he thought it was a bike engine you had, is he correct? Anyway, I've stopped and looked at your car before, very nice. You a member of any other clubs?

Hi,
The car is bike engined, it has a Hayabusa engine in it. I have had it for 6 months and it is just about run in. I have completed about 1500 miles. Unfortunatley I have not used it for a while as I need to replace the throttle cable (should be done this week).
I have been doing some timing runs on the stack and have been getting
3.6s 0-60 but have been unable to get traction until ut of 2nd gear (just disappear up the road waggling the back in a cloud of smoke)
Best in the wet was 3.9
Peak speed registered at 119mph but I did still have 3k in top gear left (but that is almost too quick too travel in a mini)
I have attached a short video (camera phone) showing how it compares to one of my other cars a Seat Ibiza 1.8t running KA03s turbo 222bhp and 260lb/ft. This was a rolling start from 30 ish. The picture is not great but it gives you an idea! (Make sure you have sound on)
*****can not upload this type of file***** let me know if some one can host it, it is a 164k 3gp.
I did not build the car it was built by Z Cars.
There is still alot to do to complete the car, soundproofing, sorting out the arches and some of the body panels.
If any of you local people are out and about in my area let me know and I will take you for a spin!

sounds like you need to get a cable on it and get your self down to the drag wars mini event.
you would love draging your mini down the track and i would like to see it shifting too
have you any pics of her?

Yea, join us on the next TMF Kent meet, as well as on the way up2 Drag Wars! Have you been having problems with the throttle cable, because someone else on here (Alburglar?!) has also been having problems, going through about one a week, but I think thats because he has a custom dash!
E-mail me that file and I'll host it on my site.

I would doubt the throttle cable issue is the same! (I have no real dash to speak of just lightswitch, hazards, fogs and brake test there is no heater in the car) The throttle cable is routed through the firewall and then under the car to reappear behind the driver inside the rear bulkhead.
Where can I find info about drag wars?
