Ahh I see.

I was actually terrified you were going to tell me that pasta was going to make me fat(ter). That'd upset my other project greatly :P.

Ahh Pot Noodles are lovely, shame they're so full of rubbish.

Got another one ;)

Lazy Pasta Carbonara:

Grab some pasta and cook in boiling, salted water with a bit of cooking oil in. (Oil stops it sticking together)

When cooked drain and return to pan, but keep about an eighth of a mug of the water.

Empty the contents of a small tub of Philadelphia into the pan with the water along with salt and pepper. Grate in some cheese, shred up some ham. Add these and stir, stir, stir, stir until mixed. Sprinkle over some extra cheese, stick in dish and devour.

Last night I found an even quicker meal idea....

1. Go to your mum and dads house after work after an hour and a half's drive with your mini full of clobber.

2. Dad feels sorry for you

3. Roast chicken dinner!!!!!!

4. With home made brownies and lasagne to take back with you.

Serweet!

Ohhh you could make that pasta when camping, cheap too = proper student meal!

Thats the way to do it. I love lasagne.

I never have to cook. Its done for me at work, three meals a day, then when I do go home my mum is a good cook. It's great.

I did use to do a bit though. Two favourite recipes: Spanish Chicken tonight with meat and pasta. Other one, cook some meat (chicken or turkey) in a pan, add mushrooms, onions etc as wanted, sprinkle in chinese style OXO cube. Serve on a plate of rice, and I then add gravy to it all. Lovely. And just for a bit more flavour on the rice, I recommend Aromat. I love Aromat.

Ahh I see.

I was actually terrified you were going to tell me that pasta was going to make me fat(ter). That'd upset my other project greatly :shifty:.

Although pasta is generally healthy, too many carbs with no exercise isn't good for you. The body uses stored carbs (glycogen) for short bursts of energy and fat for continued exercise. There is a limit to how much glycogen the body can store and if it fills up, the carbs get converted to fat.

Its like everything really - good in moderation (unless you are on a massive work out program but then you want loads of protein too)
