even if the slave had failed, wouldnt it have worked with the arm pried over manually? Doing that the slave is bypassed?

If the adjusting nut is all the way out and you use a pry bar then it should definitely release the clutch as you say. Really can't say what's up, unless when you used the 850 primary it damaged the crank and now whichever primary you use is hanging up on the shaft, but that's unlikely I would think.
It sounds like you've already done this several times but all I can think of is a very careful strip and examination.

YAHOOO! Got the car back! Dion ended up putting an entire diff' clutch on the car instead of piece by piece. He figured that the flywheel was getting hung up on the primary gear. The only problem it has now is when you slowly let out the clutch in 1st 2nd or reverse, there is a shutter or shaking. I plan on re-building the master cyl. I was told that the master would be the only thing that could be. Any comments? Thanks again for all of the help

If you're getting a shudder, that's probably grease/oil on the clutch plate or hot spots on the flywheel or back plate.

I know that there is some air in the system, tried to bleed it several times, N G. So I figure i have to rebuild the master anyway- from what i hear its pretty easy. If it is the case that it is an oil spot on the plate, just run it out i suppose? Thanks!!
