i wish i was going to wacken ;D ive been to download every year since 2003 but the best atmosphere of a band ive ever seen was napalm death in the stage at download. may be on the extreme side but the noise was absolutely amazing.

Tell ya what Mike wacken isn't much more expensive... Download is what, around £170 for the ticket? Wacken is £250 per person and for that you get the festival ticket, camping, and all travel and transfers from your nearest pick-up point (theres dozens in the UK)!! Well worth it!

I'm not really a concert person, but have taken other people to The Foo Fighters at Wembley, M People at the MEN Arena and the Radio 1 roadshow circa 1995, can't remember what bands were on but they're usually pretty famous ones.

Oasis and travis were both good. I also went to Leeds last weekend, and my personal favourites there included Funeral for a Friend, Fall Out Boy, Razorlight, and RHCP. There will be a few more clocked up at Leeds this year.

I think one of the ones I want to see most are Foo Fighters.

Nice one, cheers mate!!

Just looked them up on Wikipedia.... seems that Audioslave disbanded last year and Zack De La Rocha has returned to reform Rage Against The Machine.

Audioslave's first album was brilliant but they deteriated over the next two IMO.
