They would come with a manifold and linkage, but this is for a MGB, would i be able to re-use any of this?
Also what internal modifications would have to be made to the carbs themself?
Any help would be great.

So it would these require me to mod the bulkhead?
Also where can i get a manifold from?

Best carbs ever, full stop.
Normaly Manifold will fit, BUT you need to shorten the linkages, as the spacing is wider.
They DO hit the bukhead on some Minis, depends on what manifold your using.
The bottoms of the carbs hit the bulkhead, so a small Weber box type thing is needed.

Wheres the best place to order some needles for them? and what would be the best needles to order just to get it going until i can get it on a rolling road?
Also when you say about shortening the linkage, is this a case of cutting out some of the middle bar and welding it back together? or is there a tidier way of doing it?

He had a chap do his... Dave something....... darn I'm *rubbish* with names... icklemini on 'finity...
Anyways, yeh, I think u just need to shorten them a bit, unsure by how much, but you do

Needles, well they are a HIF38 but twined... making them HIF4, not 44! 4... So just look for needles suited for HIF38 carbs, what needles u need however, is depending on your spec.

hi mate they look just like the pair I have just fitted to my 1098. the only thing I had to mod was both the corners of the manifold where the carbs fitted to as they touch the exhaust manifold and stop it from sealing to the head
Cheers for the reply

Fingeres crossed these will go straight on.

Fingeres crossed these will go straight on.
The linkages are too wide.

You were lucky if they fitted striaght on thenthey might of been shorten before i got them
. but that was all i had to do.

Normally, if you get them straight off a MG, the linkages need tweaking.
I notice your from Herefordshire... where abouts?
