Cambiker71 is an MOT tester, and he's generally always right with these things.

Well , ive had my door locks off and them door poppers on ebay look like theyd do the job, as for getting into the car if anything fails , ive thought of that one aswell
, gonna give it a shot ( should pass mot if not al have to change doors lol ), if it doesnt work just going to keep original mechanisum on , take handle off which leaves a hole u can push to open door if u aint got handle( most of you should know what i meen ) , then just get a plate with hole in and weld that in and a piece of pipe that fits which will push the openner , not as simple as that but you should get my idea , just meens you will have to instal central locking but thats nothing ..

smooth doors would look weeel good.. nice one for pointing that out i. i may have to add that to the shopping/to do list

well im swayed, im allready half way through smoothing my doors, you can all have a peep on my rebuild blog if you would like to see how its going..
