Hey there,
I was trial fitting the trickshifter system and the problem is that the cable is to long. Chris will send me a new shortened cable, but the next thing is:
Will the pressure sensor of the trickshifter be fitted underneath the gearlever (under the tunnel of the car), or at the back at the gearlever rod on the
engine.
The next problem is that the bracket (holding the cable) will be fitted in the tunnel a little bit further back because of the additional length of the pressure
sensor. And as you guys all know the tunnel runs down a little towards the back, so the bracket will be lower and a curve in the cabel will occur. Shortening
the bracket is possible but the next thing is that it is impossible to bolt it to the tunnel because it will be directly under the handbrakelever.
Is there anyone who experienced the same problem, tips and advice are very welcome (pics also)
thnx alot guys,
Pim Verouden (holland)
I will add a picture asap.
