At the moment my engine is a bog standard 1.3i. Not sure really what can be done to make it more on the reliable side on track days. Castle Combe is mainly long straights so i'll have to have a think

Dunno to be honest.
I've been looking at the different options available to me and doing a mini up as a full on track day car is the best for me + i wont need anything bigger than a mondeo to toe it to tracks.
The one thing that is bugging me is the sunroof. I don't know why but for a track car i would prefer a solid roof. Would it be better to tidy my mini up, sell it then get one thats in good condition with a solid roof or replace / patch mine?
I'm not really sure how hard it would be to fit a new roof so any thoughts would be appreciated

I'd love to keep the car and just get rid of the sunroof but wouldnt know where to start to be honest.
Maybe i could source a donar roof and just replace the bit i need? Then again that might turn out to be harder than replacing the whole roof :S
