i love the fact home close to home i am actually camping.. taking it as holiday from work.. a holiday in my local town.. how amazing:D

i posted a camp site in weston that is on the beach near enough and a 5 minute wallk from the centre of town.

Slimeridger Farm Touring Park

This small touring site is next to the beach in Uphill village at the southern end of Weston Bay. There are 56 pitches (many taken on seasonal lets), on level grass with electricity (16A) available, separated from the beach by stone walling. The view across the bay is quite something, with Brean Down and Steep Holm Island standing out. However it is worth noting that, because of its close proximity to the beach, the site could be affected by the tide in extreme adverse winter weather conditions. A circular tarmac road connects the marked and numbered pitches (allocated by the wardens) which include eight hardstandings for motorcaravans. Arrive betweeon 11.00 and 17.00 hrs only. Weston-super-Mare with all its leisure activities and entertainment is 2 miles, Cheddar Gorge, Wooky Hole and Glastonbury are within easy driving distance.

Egg the place your on about is a good site, haven't stayed there but have driven around it as boat parts are regularly bought by my Dad from Uphill

that place looks nice its near a pub and its near uphill to which is nice area, and its right on the beach, if you come out then turn left go over a small humped bridge your then on sand. and if you wanted to you can drive on.

Ok then so slim ridge park sounds good then?

Can't see a problem as its out of season and we are all house trained(apart from wolfy!!)
