Anyone else on here with a SkyRose mini??
How rare are they now?

A sky has a blue roof, a rose has a pink roof. I'd say yours is a Sky if it's the one in your avatar, so check the "Have We Got The Complete Set Yet" post at the top of this section to get a guesstimate of the numbers on the forum. HTH

completely irrelevant but I love mini skys. About 7 years ago there was one for sale near me for £1500, I wanted it so badly but some other meanie bought it before i could save up the money from my saturday job (probably for the best as it would have taken me about 25 years to save up!).

So there you go, there is at least two in the world that we know of!!

i got one, its in a wee bit of a sorry state, but soon to be restored to its former glory (back to orignal spec!!)

The people we brought it off also had another mini sky!!!

I didnt know much about minis when I got it, and didnt realise it was quite so rare.
Does anyone know where i might be able to find the 'Sky' decal that goes down the side??
I didnt plan on keeping this car for long, just until i had my year no-claims and then i was
planning on upgrading to a Cooper of some sort. What do people recon? Either spend the
money looking after this one or spend it on a cooper?

Restore your Sky They're a rarity.
Hmm...as for decals, I'd say see if you can track down Graphics Wizard on Ebay, they may be able to help you out with a repro-decal.

Somerford Mini are usually really good for decals, there are probably some people on here that could make them as well

My mum's got a Sky which my brothers and Dad restored to original spec and concourse condition. It's a cracking little motor and they are quite rare and pricey in good nick. They also had trouble getting hold of decals and actually had some made by a car graphics shop from a digital image. If you get stumped finding some originals, then that's probably you're best bet!

So from what that says...only 500 skys were made and 500 Roses??
No wunder i've never seen another one.
