[South West Minis]

I've just moved back to the area and now live in Carbis Bay, we used to live in Treswithian just outside Camborne a few doors down from The Choughs, not that far from Penponds.

I know a few people with Mini's and so we have just started up South West Mini's to do our own Mini runs and camping weekend really, anyone is invited to pop along from any club should they wish. It's all about having fun with like minded guys and girls plus we have a little website and forum so we can get to know all you Cornish owners.

Whats it really like living in carbis bay/ st ives pros and cons??

there is a mini thats parked on the pathway outside a cottage on the road towards carbis bay. you turn a blind bend and there it sits on the left. dont know how he parks it up against the wall and gets out!!

think its a green/ dark cooper and driven by a matchstick man!!

Pros and Cons, It's amazing when the sun is out and you can get down the beach or St.Ives harbour and the pubs, cons are the bloody parking and it's raining!!!

You mean the S reg BRG Sportspack in Lelant opposite the Badger Inn and I am amazing it hasn't been hit by a HGV coming around that corner, there was two major accidents in Lelant in one day last month with one car ending up on it's roof!!!

Loads of Mini's down here and some brilliant driving roads once your off the A30.

yes thats the one. ..... i bet the back lanes are fantastic ...... parking is a nightmare i agree!! ....and i have a altered numberplate and i got pulled over for it!! had it in london for years and no-one bothers up here. He let me off but told me to change it when i get back to the chalet.....i didnt

i want to move to st ives but my mrs wont entertain it!!

I can understand why people WOULD want to move here, can't understand why people WOULDN'T!!!

pros of st ives- summer, beaches, women, pubs

cons of st ives- winter, lack of things to do, everything shuts after 7 in the winter etc etc
