Hi everyone.
Ive had my SPI a few weeks and has been running ok'ish.
Yesterday i noticed that the stepper motor was unplugged so i have plugged it back in.
Now it is not ticking over very well and nearly stalling.
Any ideas what i can do??
Do i unplug it again or sort it?
Im in West Sussex and there seems to be a shortage of specialists here if anyoneknows any
I know o a couple on the coast but none in crawley area??
Thanks
Dave

Are you sure it was the stepper motor that was unplugged? Unplug it and try it again.
When you turn on the ignition - does the stepper click a few times. then when you turn the ignition off - does it click some more?
If it does that - it wasnt the stepper motor that was unplugged.
Check the forum above for the injecton specific thread - very helpfull - helped me sort my issues out.

If the stepper has been left unplugged, I can only assume that some one in the past has thought they had a problem, and the only way they could resolve it was to un plug it. I will also assume that the throttle stop has also been adjusted, that, I am afraid, will require the use of a diagnostic service tool to set up the stepper mottor correctly.
Firstly I would check that all the small vacuum lines are connected and in good condition. There are plenty of topics around on this subject so have a search. but, when it comes to setting it up, you need the diagnostic.
