Hey,
Just got a fuel filter from halford.
Can anyone point to where the fuel filter is in a 1996 SPI mini ?
Any tip in fitting one ??

I'm surprised Halfrauds had one for you. They're becoming less and less Mini friendly over the years.
Your filter should be mounted on the rear subframe underneath the petrol tank. They get very very crudded up under there so be prepared for it to be a absolute sod to change. You may also have to change the bracket that holds it as they also corrode quite heavily. You'll need some pipe clamps and several different sized spanners, plus plenty of WD40. Just be prepared for the unions to be seized and be careful not to damage the pipes.
