not a brilliant photoshop of it to be honest... i still think it would look good in your colour.... but then im stubborn like that!!
got any better photos of the wiring...? the white and brown is for the oil pressure light.... no idea what the other two are for...?? i could prob work it out if i could see it and see where the green wires go to on the current loom...

This is what I get from that wiring diagram:
You've got a red wire and a black wire together on the back, this is for illumination.
Black: Connect to ground.
Red: Connect to sidelight switch.
This way the dial will illuminate when you turn the sidelights on.
Now the other three wires. You'll have to refer to your table for which colours the wires are but:
A: Connect to negative side of your coil in the engine bay.
B: Connect to earth.
C: Connect to switched live.
This means your counter will only come on when you have the ignition in the on position.
