Just out of curiousity how did you get the tyres on so quick?

And, typically enough, I found my Escort picked up a nail on the journey back up last night and had a flat front tyre

Thanks mate, i got the tyres on so quick because i nagged the man in the tyre shop in front of my house to put them on, so he changed all the valves and put the tyres on for £10

really like those wheels! forget cooper s brakes for now, get some drums on the front. no one buys them so they'll be cheap, then you can save up for the s discs later

Tanks mate, i was thinking about getting drums for a little while but soon i should have enough money to be able to get the brakes so putting drums on would be a little bit pointless lol

right i wanted to update this today saying that i had fitted the Hi-Lows but as usuall nothing goes quite right for me, couldnt get to old suspension stuff out > >

hi mate, my mini is currently the same colour as yours, its also an f reg, also has black and silver pressed plates, and i am also running 10 inch wheels now too, although mine are the jap copper s style alloys with 8.4" discs. seeing yours has inspired me to do my roof black.

as soon as i have done all the other little bits im going to paint the body damask red (old bl colour)

Right then, today i got the drivers side rear hi-lows on after smashing up the old trumpet to get the knickle joint and cone off but i couldnt be bothered to move the petrol tank to do the the other side, but while talking on msn to Tom (HARBER07) he suggested that rather then moving the tank about to undo the shock i could undo it on the radious arm, so i will most likely be trying that tomorrow, any one know if this wont work??

Also i think i need some lowered dampers as my mini is not going down much.
