The next problem being that the mini is about 140cm wide, where as the gate between my drive and my garage is 125cm. So I had to then take the gate off, as well as the latching post to even start a chance. As you can see, it was a very tight squeeze. Good job I'm experienced at getting large things into small gaps!

Still, got it through, at times having to pull the engine crane, then walk through the house, all the way around, push it a bit, then walk all the way back, pull a bit more. It was quite a long process! All the time carrying tyres to keep the new tiled driveway nice and new!
Then it was just a simple 1 hour push to the garage, stopping to move the running machine and rowing machine out the way, but finally its in there. You may make the mistake of thinking I know have loads of room to work on it. Your wrong. Theres quite a bit of stuff that had to go back in the garage once the shell was in there, like the running machine and rowing machine, and various boxes. But at least I'll be out the elements!

Tee hee!You ******! I was looking at them! 2.7kg per seat. Are they the narrow fitment ones?
Jealous isnt the word! lol.
To be honest I'm not sure which size they are, I got them off Piston Heads from a guy who had them in his Westfield. Very nice price I paid for them too, certainly wasn't Fluke Motorsport prices!! I would my arse would be the part of my body held mostly firmly in the seat, but its actually my broad muscular shoulders! The seat is about 37cm at the arse, and 40cm at the shoulders. My 14 stone (just big build, not fat) mate found it a little uncomfortable, but for me its about perfect.

Because my rents never intended to use the garage as a garage. They stuck a load of gym equipment in there thinking it would spur them on to get fit, and they had plans to use it as a 'summer room'Nice one, king of innuendo's as always it seems....but unless i am totally confused, why have you got a gate to the garage that not even a mini can get through?

Yea, my dad has already mentioned what I plan to do when I put wheel on it and can't get it back through the gate. I'll deal with that later.

Received these in the post. I wasn't going to bother with brakes yet, but these were on Ebay and going cheap (-er than the usual KAD prices!). They are in very good condition (better than the KAD brakes on my other mini that have only done a few hundred miles) and come with greenstuff pads and KAD vented, grooved and cross-drilled discs.
They are the 8.4" calipers, which won't fit under any 10" wheels, except the split rims from Force Racing!

I've also noticed that in the dozen or so pages this project has been running for, I haven't actually made any real progress with the project!
