3. If you fit a stick on number plate to your bonnet it you are leaving yourself open to a fixed penalty, should you be stopped again for the same offence you could be facing a summons to court!
Sometmes you just have to live on the wild side of life.....

Well said...Sometmes you just have to live on the wild side of life.....
I occasionally break the speed limit, and.... I have been known to do the odd wheelie on my R1.

Yeah by all means do as you feel, I was just stating the facts just in case anyone does fit the plates and then has a fine to pay.

I got told once that you don't even need a front number plate as long as you have the rear one. Don't know how true it is - no doubt someone'll correct me!
I believe you legally need both.... Police mobile units and some speed cameras are forward facing so a front number plate will be needed.

You start moving them, hiding them behind visors/windows etc etc and you actually LOOK like your trying to hide your plate... easy pickings for police.
It's not worth it.
In New Zealand a lot of people tried cutting the ends of to make them fit and got hefty fines. Others tried the stick on ones and got fines. A lot of those idiot 'boi (ghey) racers' put them in their windscreens and again... easy pickings. The latest dumb craze is to have the back plate on a 45 degree angle (flob knows why) and again... they get pulled up for it and heavily fined. Any modification or display of plates outside what the law states and you get a fine. Why bother? SPend the money on parts for your car instead of paying fines!! ..smarten up aye!
Just display them like the law says.

The front facing camera's annoy me, it's like they don't care if a motorbike breaks the speed limit, as a front only shot can't identify the bike concerned... why is this??? Same with 90% of the average speed camera's they all face the front of the car, so motorbikes can go through as quick as they want technically...... Sorry off topic i know

The second generation cameras (the ones you see in the back of station wagons) can catch vehicles travelling either towards or away from them, and can operate across EIGHT lanes of traffic. They can also fire off lots of photos real quick, so don't bother trying to tailgate someone else hoping you won't get snapped. These bastards are designed to make money...
