YAY!
Im hoping to start my mini this weekend for the first time since i crashed it in easter 04. (Thechnically i did start it once briefly shortly after the incident in an attempt to drive it on to the car trailer - but within seconds of starting up galons of thick black oil gushed on to my driveway from the cracked oil filter - there is still a black stain on my driveway).

All thats left for me to do to get it stated is to fit a new fuel pipe which if all goes smoothly (which it invariably won't - things always take 10x longer than i think they should) shouldn take too long.

After that (fingers crossed) it should start.

The encoraging thing is that it has started before so unless i have made some critical eror in my repairs (or more likely the re-wiring) there is no reason that it shouldnt start again.

Wish me luck!!!!!!

i hope you didint do it any damage when you pumped all your oil out over the drive, usually when its on the drive and not in the engine things go bang and scrape fairly quickly
