Get some holes drilled, they'll make less mess than a badge you've had to lever off - and the badge will be reusable.
Mine are all siliconed on! It sticks well once dry, is waterproof and doesn't leave a mess when it comes off! Can't go wrong really.

If it has lugs, it's meant to be fitted through holes with special washers behind which grip it, or plastic thingies you can buy off minispares. If you don't want to drill holes, grind the lugs off and use double sided tape. Anyone who uses silicone on a car should be shot. If you've ever tried painting a car which has had silicone on it, you will know what I mean.
