+60 thou bore, lightened and polished rods, lightened and balanced bottom end incl end pulley and clutch assembly, balanced pistons. 32/36 dgav weber carb, 12g940 head with large valves, double springs, sw5 - 07 cam, maniflow stage1 manifold with 1"3/4 centre exit partially home made system. 59bhp, 58lbft torque, car is not as high spec to keep it reliable. could have done ALOT more but didnt want reliability problems due to too much power. standard clutch slips when giving it beans as it is, next stage is a turbo clutch kit.

998 A+
SW5, Maniflow Magic Pipe, Cherry Bomb exhaust, Janspeed Head Stage 2, Headskimmed 60 thou', Double Valve Springs HS4 - (Non waxstat) K&N, MiniSport ultralight Flywheel + Backplate, Eletric Fuel Pump, No alternator.
Got 62hp at the wheels, 70@fly.

Will be looking for 70-75 at wheels once ive finished the rebuild

Not being funny mate but I very much doubt that those figures are achievable with that sort of spec. From what you have said the engine is losing 8bhp through the transmission, you must have something very special to loose so little bhp to the wheels.

Thats about right for transmission losses, I wouldent lie about what i achived on the RR. A standard 998 produces 42ish bhp with those mods installed you can see it still isent a huge jump from 42.

Standard 45,000 mile 998 with Stage 1 - 37.2 at the wheels....

But is running like utter pap at the moment! When the figures were done, he was found to be running stupidly rich but I only had him booked in for a power run, not a tune! :)

Should be getting sorted pretty soon though, so fingers crossed! :D
