i have found out that my hazards dont work so i bought a new switch wich is in full working order but they still dont work so i have investigated further and found out that the flasher unit where the wires go in are corroded and i have been told that you cant get these any more so it looks like i am going to have to put some crimp connections on it and hope it works. any one experianced the same problem

Have you tried DSN Classics for the connector???? there really helpful. :) nice little car you have there, sort of reminds of my first :P (but with less damage) :)

not updated this for a while as not that much progress has been achevied ao here goes:

i have chromed up all the boot with hinges, boot light, handle
i have put chrome handles on and door scoops yet to be fitted
clear indicators all the way round, just waiting on the rears

i have also jacked the car up took all the wheels off and had a look around and to my horror have noticed that i have got a big gaping hole in the rear subby just under the cones near the jacking point so i have bought a second hand replacement. i have had a go at getting the old subby off but the bolts behing the radius arms dont want to budge. i dont really want to heat them up as there near the bushes so i am going to get some locktite freeze and release anyone ever used this and whats it like.

anyhow here are some piks of the rotten subby that is still on the car, is this too far gone or is it salvageable and weld it up
