Quite a simple one! Anyone know the BHP figure for a standard 1275MPI?

I'm only asking because i'd like to know roughly what kind of % increase in power i'll be getting when i've fitted my Minisport stage 4 head and swifty cam along with the stage 1 i have on now.

Also should i go with the 1.5 rockers or not, i've heard mixed things about them (some say you dont need them). If they give any increase i'd be interested in getting em, but i've also hear they cause so engine wear??

Finally... Is the minisport Stage 4 the head of choice, anyone know of better ones for a similar price??

Cheers,

Rob

may be better just going for a lairyer cam to start with."stage" heads are much of a muchness but some of the "bigger" suppliers dont seem to spend as much time on them as they should!!!!

changing your final drive will give you much better acceleration as the 2.7:1 standard on the MPI is the poorest accelerating of the lot.. but will give you a more comfortable rpm at motorway speeds.
