28/36 ias fine on a standard 1275, or even with a decent exhaust its still good!

If your going for a modified 1275 upgrade would be nice.

so you think keep the 28/36. and it would go on 1275 with a fast road cam.
but what do u think would be better to have the 28/36 or 32/34 because i can also get my hands on one

Still with the 28/36.

Just mkae sure you go to a RR that knows the DCD carbs... like a old skool Ford place or something.
What Fastroad cam you fitting?

According to AC Dodd, a 28/36 would only just about work on a 1275, I think it would be restrictive on a modified 1275, same for the 32/34.

i run a 32/36 dgav which i bought with manifold for £40. i can get 40 and 45 dcoe's cheaper than you paid for the downdraft. thats a lot of money for that type of carburettor.

Personally, I don't like Minisport cams.

If your after something that'll give you more everywhere, go for a SW5 or a MSPD ph2 or a Kent MD 266.
Obv personal choices.

The DCD will work, just don't expact massive power.
