Hi
I have a metro 12HC 01AA engine in my mini, and its running 13" wheels
Im trying to identify a number of things and struggling so any help is greatfult
the things Im struggling on are
Diff ratio
Compression Ratio
Im sure the speedo is out and I need to know what the diff is etc to try and get the right conversion
the engine has a LCB and full large bore exhaust system, K&N cone type filter and runs sweet but as always, a bit more power would be nice, are there any "quick wins" that I can do to get a bit more go ?
Many Thanks
Phil

Someone else was looking for this exact same engine just a few days ago.
Turned out to be a 9.75:1 CR lump from a Metro HLE (E for economy meaning it has the 'economy' final drive).
I should say that it wasn't me who found this info the first time round though  .

Dan
thanks for the info, the CR is better than I thought ... had a feeling it was going to be a real low compression job
any idea where I can find info on the ratio's etc ? (looked on google ... no joy)
I've looked for the other thread you mentioned and cant find it (in case the info was on there)
Cheers
