i have finally got my first car after 4 months of looking. its a 1982 mini city in cinnabar, amazingly i am the second owner and it has only done 17k genuine miles. it was taken off the road 6 years ago due the the origional owners ill health. the car started on the second turn of the key after the pionts were cleaned and a new battery. the body is in fantastic condition with no rust having been undersealed from new (have the certificate). i have even got the original invoice for the sale of the car new in march 82. i will be taking the car for an mot in a few weeks time after changing some of the perishable components on the car. sorry about the poor quality of the images.

That's gorgeous, same colour and spec as mine! Don't listen to them! Keep it standardish- Minis of this era are dying out in a haze of Sportspack replicas....

Whatever you do don't swap the cool centre dash for a 3 clock in-front-of-the-driver one!

Absolute bargain too. Very jealous.

dont worry i wouldnt dream of changing the dash, its one of the reasons why i waited for so long, i didnt want the later style (in my opinion they look rubbish)

Nearly the same colour (vermillion not Cinnabar red)

Gorgeous.

Nice car, nice colour and a very nice price!

The only thing I might do to the centre clock is add the Cooper/Mini 1000 type oval pod so you'd also get a water temp and oil pressure gauge either side.

Not really essential though, but it wouldn't spoil the look or image.
