Nice car, nice colour and a very nice price!

The only thing I might do to the centre clock is add the Cooper/Mini 1000 type oval pod so you'd also get a water temp and oil pressure gauge either side.

Not really essential though, but it wouldn't spoil the look or image.

i thought the exact same, would it be expensive.

Not really, you can pick the Mini 1000 type oval pod up off e-Bay. In fact only recently I sold the old pod I bought for the City E I once owned (never got around to fitting it) for about 15 quid.

I think actually getting it to fit and wiring it all up is the hard part?

Wiring it up isn't difficult, and as lovely as the single-clock is, a temp gauge is pretty useful (hope I haven't destroyed my own argument there!)

All you need is a feed off the voltage regulator (large bar-like thing on the back of the speedo) and the other cable going to a temp sensor in the thermostat housing. Oh and a light feed off a panel light.

Oil pressure can't be that harder, again a light feed, and connect the pipe to the oil sensor on the block.

Keep it standard, go on, you know you love a brown vinyl interior....
