hey we dont want too much sun or we will be riddled with bikes again.

its ok, was only goin on the bike so john could take a friend. now shes workin so i dont mind either way.
chances are it will be wet but ya never know, last one was a suprise.

that's why he was my co-pilot on the last run

yup soon as i got it i started pulling it apart.
only driven it once. that was the test drive so i was being extra careful as it wasnt mine plus i had no insurance to drive it.

I May not be able to come now, Had a slight accident last night and haven't looked at the damage yet

depends what needs doing and if I can get the cash to fix it, will keep you all updated though

ha ha.. Nope no wall involved this time, Was hammerin' it over pendle last night. heard a reyt loud bang over the tunes on full whack, next thing i know bonnet fly's open heard somethin'/some things bounce over the roof, slapped on, back end came out and mounted a bankin' on the side of the road.

think bonnets bol***ks'd, dunno about scuttle (needs re-painting minimum), wiper arms are bent, not sure if screens cracked, or anything else. Goin' to have a look at dinner... well now

It was about 9 last night and it was a tad bit dark up pendle and at home.


well it seems that the bonnets bent - no paint missin' so if it bends back it'll be ok

bonnet hinges are f**ked beyond all recognition - lucky I've got some quick release one's sat in mi toolbox

bonnet stay and catch is still up pendle somewhere

scuttle wants repainting

wiper arms and blades now look like chrome banana's

think I may have another couple of scratches on the windscreen but it's cheaper to get a tinted one from mini sport that get it repaired

Workin' away all weekend so looks like I'm gunna be busy every night next week and next weekend

Oh dear sorry to hear that John, sounds like its all going wrong for us both, my bonnet flipped the other week yours this week, whos next???

Dont wish it on anyone, its a scary experience, especially when going at some speed, last time i didnt it i was going nearly 70, luckily last weeks was only at 30ish

Hope you manage to get it fixed for the run, if not i might have a spare seat and Mark can go on his bike as he wants to

Thanks mate, hopefully I'll get it sorted. It looks like I can save it and I have spares of the bits including paint well... apart from the uprated wiper arms, So fingers crossed I'll sort it out.
Might also be a good excuse to change the windscreen since it's already got a few scratches in!

i do hope you manage to make it john. had confirmation off the paper today they are running an advert this week to let people know what we are doing and they are coming on the 1st to take some pics and an article.
