how do you like the peep mirror? it looks great but is it any good to see behind you? is the lens flat or curved like a normal mirror (object in mirror are closer than they appear)? i'm rebuilding my clubby and i planning of getting rid of the doors mirror mounting holes and getting a clip on seam one...

Just a quick update
- Bumpers ordered... yes carbon fibre, weave showing, clubman estate bumpers! Rock on
- Side panels ordered... to replace the rear windows, hopefully saving a bit of weight
Haven't really done a lot of physical work to the car as the garage it's kept in is F**kin freezing. Gonna try and make a start on fitting the main doors this weekend.

Finally i managed to persuade myself to do some work on the car..... in the cold cold weather.... which turned out to be... sunny
The plan for the day was to remove the old doors and test fit the new ones.
After a painful look for a 7/16 or an 11mm socket, and an hour of trying to remove them with an 11mm spanner (don't bother) Craig went off to source one.
Once I had the correct tool it took about 10 mins to get the doors off with only one of the studs snapping
Old doors....
New doors...
Bits removed whilst waiting for the correct tool ...
Mmmmmmm I Like Gooooooooooollllddd...
BRING ON THE TRUMPETS!!!!!!
