i went to see the man in the shop and he is gonna come have a look see what i need, i dont want marine as there harder to look after etc!

sell the protein skimmer for money towards the tropical set up
good going for £10
the compartment at the back you will be able to fill with carbon, filter wool and filter sponges along with other cleaners, if you didnt want to use the back filter buy a internal fluval filter easy to set up and use, you will need the biggest internal fluval i think as the tank looks about 40gallons (ish) from the pic.
