R.i.p. Mini After Spinning It In Dry

im sorry to announce that i have not killed/crashed/writen off my mini. all those people that came to look at this feeling smug, saying i would rite it off.
for a start, ill clear some things up.
some of the things that are true:
-i am 17
-i do drive sometimes a little to fast
- i have found out the limits of my mini. (these being in the dry, and the wet)
- i need no 'help in the trouser department'
- i was probably doing about 40mph at tops
-ive only been driving about 18 months and i have never been pulled over, had a crash, caused a crash, had a near miss, or even a little scrape.
- i love my mini as much as anyone else, so would not see any harm come to it.
i have adjustable suspension on my mini, so no handling problems there.
some other things that have evolved from the tread that are misunderstanding or people not reading the topic.
- i was not boasting
-i was not 'a built up area'
-there were no children
- i was not trying to be 'cool'
it was on a wide open corner, that i could see no pedestrians, pets, other cars ect. the road must be 30 meters wide- with huge overruns either side with no houses/buildings for miles around. i regularly drive 'off road' in my mini or an old beemer i have, and find the limits of cars i drive. i think this improves my 'on road; driving as i know when the car will let go.
are all you people on here trying to say that you have never, not once let a car go slightly out of control, spun or skidded a car. i did this on a safe area of public road. the grannys were about 30 meters away and heard the squeel.
the reason it spun is a combination of factors.
1. no weight in the back.
2.lowered rear end
3. i hit the brakes wen going round the corner.

Not mini related at all is it, more to do with your pathetic driving style.
must ask, what is your problem?

Ahh, I see! Driving on private land is very different though to driving on a road, mainly because theres no one around!
Just be careful and dont go pushing your limits too much
