Nearly crashed my Mini 3 times today in the space of a few Minutes. was In the outside Lane on a dual carriage way and was being held up a couple of cars ahead by a slower driver so I'm a safe distant from the car in front and then with out any signal car on the inside lane comes across into my lane reasonably quickly just missing the front of my car, So I had to hit the brakes then as we passed a van he shoots back across to the inside just missing the front of a van, so the van swerves out the way into my path so I had to hit the brakes again.

Then at the lights I was in the left lane to go left down a slip road and someone comes down the lane thats Right turn only and comes across and makes me have to hit the brakes again.
I'm a bit scared to take my car out now in case my car actually dose get hit.

Oh and another thing WHY DON'T SOME PEOPLE INDICATE?

Sorry just needed to get it off my chest.

People not indicating...I wont even get started.

Just watch a film called Shoot Em Up to see how to deal with people who dont indicate
(Disclaimer: Dont actually do it and dont watch the film unless you're old enough)

I think that everyone should have to be re-tested on there driving every so many years. Might even have a affect on the amount of deaths on the road.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience, but people will probably still fail to indicate once they've redone their driving test.

I honestly think people believe it's uncool to indicate. BMW drivers are probably the worst culprits, which says a lot about them Chavs!

Or people who indicate at the last second before they turn.. I often don't indicate if there is no one around me, say on country lanes in the morning or at night, but I always will if there are cars about.

I guess it's just polite and the sensible thing to do.

I always indicate automatically, regardless of whether there's a car present.

I indicate automatically too but quite often when I'm on a pitch black country lane and it's totally dead, I havent seen another soul for ten minutes, I can see all the way up the lane and theres nothing coming towards nor behind me, I STILL indicate and pause to check for traffic as if in town! I feel like a right prat!

but back to the point grrrr silly non indicating motorway drivers trying to squash your mini >

I have ALWAYS said this. Every 10 years everyone should be retested. Would get the idiots off the road and the old biddies.

It annoyed me when I took my test that they would tell me not to indicate if there was no one around. What is the point of that?? Surely you should indicate EVERY time so you get into the habit, it was if it was a bad thing to indicate if there roads were clear - how very annoying!!

Know how you feel!

my on the road mini has drum brakes all round

and comming down fast lane of dual carrageway on way home from work

the inside lane signals that it will be closed in 300 yards some police sign.

so the person on the inside lane decides not to indicate but to just pull in front of me at a distance of mere Feet (3-4) then as they see the car accident they stomp on there brakes to have a look! No traffic in front of them!

OMG! How Annoying it was so close i ended up going through the police coning area other wise i would have hit them! and what did they do? DRIVE OFF!

makes me so mad, How can people be so stupid????

AARRGGHHH
