Why not take out the passenger seat?

I was able to sleep flat and comfy in my Van :(


Stevie mann does this on his trip round the uk however he was in a saloon :). Looked pretty comfy mind lol.

Yep - you can kip in the back of a clubby estate with no problems - I'm 6'6" and used to spend a fair few Friday nights that way after drinking a bit too much - no pretence of comfort though.....and remember to leave the window open a bit - forget that and it gets a bit unpleasant!

Damm my not so short shortness, I figure if I can get the passenger seat to fold down, there will be plenty of room for me to enjoy watching them in the field of rain.


Get some Morris Minor front seats in there, the backs fold flat onto the base, then the whole unit tips forward if needed. Mine was the easiest 2-door car ever to get in to!

If I had to do it I would unscrew the seat base and lay it accross the pasenger and driver seats. You could then fold the seatback flat as normal and lay out in the back with your legs poking between the front seets and your feet resting on the seat base you just removed.

...maybe

You have to undo two 7/16 nuts to get the seat base out I think.

Or just buy a tent because it'll probably still be more comfortable.
