Was wondering what happens insurance wise on the higher end of tuning our Minis.

I was told by my insurance company they wouldn't charge me at all for a Stage 1 kit. But whats the situation a bit further up towards stage 3?

Cheers, Q_M

Please lets not have another topic with everyone just quoting what they pay, it doesn't help one bit because everyone pays a different premium.

Premiums generally go up with certain power increases, or at least they did when I last spoke to HIC. For 5-10% sometimes there is no increase, 10-15% goes up X amount, etc etc. Theres no real way of knowing exactly how premiums are calculated because the algorithms they use to calculate them are so complex they are generally plucked out of thin air.
