Why not go for a supercharged 1380 or something 998 will be pointless i think.

unless its blow through its still pointless in my opinion. would get the same effect with a turbo at less cost and better fuel economy.

I was also wondering if anyone has ever put a mazda engine in a mini?

Or a TT engine  :)

I think a mazda rotary engine has been done???

As for TT, did you mean put a whole mini in a TT??? because that'll maybe fit? Well shell just

Bini engine? 1.6 Americana lump? It'll be different, not popular but rare.

The main problem with that ebay one was it basically consisted of a shell, and 2 engines IIRC. No subframes or running gear apart from that. They were trying to sell it as a nearly complete project when in fact it was far from that. All the hard work was still to do.

You can see in the pictures there is nothing in the rear, and the front engine is propped on blocks of wood.

the twin bini engined clubman was more "unfunished" than "project" - thats probably why it didnt sell - for the 3rd time! price seems to go up each time.

I still think there is some mileage in a bini conversion - the bolt on mods make it a viable option surely?
