 Lucky you only hit, were hit by, one car!

Never mind, you'll have to do the sensible thing and rebuild it so it's even faster :P

Ah so not so straight forward as someone going into the back of you then. Not good! Sounds like you were very lucky (in an unlucky manner if you get what I mean).

Take it easy for the next few days then just incase you did pull something.

We were very lucky I must admit, spinning at 60 odd across 4 lanes, over a distance of probably 150ft and only hitting one car.... we were very lucky, i would hate to think what would of happened if there was an truck and trailer beside us!

I know of somewhere in Suffolk with a Hornet shell, could probably pick it up for a couple of hundred to build the Turbo into?

Only thing is I actually wouldn like it to build my own track car...

He may have a Clubman too - in fact quite likely.

Or would you consider a clubby estate?

Just read this open-mouthed :)

Steve I am so gutted, your car is amazing and I can't believe it has happened to you - I'm glad you're both OK!

The Mini is badly damaged but its surprising what can be repaired, and it had no rust so I really hope it can be sorted out, if not then obviously a re-shell isn't difficult.

You definitely can't get rid of it now though, you have to rebuild it bigger and better than before :)

You know i said about staying a little longer to get some pics of you on the track.... I really wish i did now lol

There is a chance it could be repaired, but not with out alot of money being thrown at it. If i could weld I would do it, but not being able to is a problem.

It's ok saying it can be repaired and all but it cant without the cash and with all this credit crunch it's a bad time Lol.
Feel sorry for you man.

Josh.

If only you had stayed :)

Have you considered a re-shell then, could possibly go for a heritage shell?

Tom
