Hi. I have an Orange PAYG sim which I only use about £10 a month on, so a contract really wouldn't be worth my while, but I want a good PDA-type phone to use as a personal organiser and phone. I'm not bothered about internet access or email though, although most PDA phones have this.

What phones have people has on here that are good for this sort of thing? I see some also have satnav, which would be pretty good I think. I'm looking to get a secondhand one, max spend about £100- there seem to be quite a few different models on Ebay at this price, but I thought I would ask for recommendations.

Of course an Iphone would be great (I know the 1st gen ones don't have GPS though) but I'm not spending £200-300!

Thanks for advice!

02 XDA first gen - cack
02 xda 2nd gen - more cack
02 xda 3rd gen - OK
blackberry 3210 - pretty good - t'internet on this model running opera is really fast and easy to navigate.

make sure you can hook over to 3G, with a pda and obvios stuff like email t'internet capabilities, it makes good sense.

i would say (as roofless agrees( the 3210 blackberry is a decent choice. without going too new. the htc diamond is an excellant phone, but way too expensive on payg.

That looks OK, but I don't know if I like the ones with the full QWERTY keyboard on tiny keys- a touchscreen or flip down keyboard seems better to me... but what do I know?

Thanks for advice- anyone had one of them Orange SPV M2000s like in my first link? Looks good to me- any comments?

I'm selling this on my other thread For sale thread. Nokia E61 smartphone, this has been unlocked to all networks and currently has an O2 card installed, unfortunatly there is no charger or box with it as this is the way I recieved it. once charged it works brilliantly.

Technical Specifications

£35 posted or £30 collected

with shiftys e61, its simple too use, the keys are a little fiddy for a few times, but you get used too them the more you use it. it does what you want with no problems, the charger is the usual nokia charger. either a big or small jack.

quite a bargain >_<
