Got an XDA Orbit 2... Pretty good. Not too heavy. Just WM6 sucks major balls.

Why have a Blackberry...? WM6 can do everything a Blackberry can do, if not better, (says a lot about Blackberry OS), and it doesn't cost you an extra £10 a month for the privilege of having the word Blackberry on your phone.

Just got a 1st gen iPhone on Friday night and I'm wondering why I ever bothered with WM6...

Again thanks for the input. Does anyone know about satnav on these types of phones? It seems that some come with an inbuilt GPS unit and others need an additional unit thing. Any advice? Thanks in advance! Like I said, as I am on PAYG I won't be that bothered about using email or internet as it costs a lot of money.

If it has an inbuilt GPS unit then you'll just need Sat Nav software like TomTom or Copilot. If it doesn't, then you'll need a GPS receiver (usually connect via bluetooth) and the Sat Nav software.

Since I just bought this iPhone, I've got this O2 XDA Orbit 2 for sale, it's unlocked so suitable for PAYG sim, it has HDPSA compatible 3G GPRS, Wireless, in-built GPS with Copilot 7 (full UK Postcode mapping and Safety Camera locations), 3.2 MP camera, Touchscreen, I've got a 1GB Micro SD Card which the phone can use like a PC uses a hard drive. So you can ram it full of music, photos from the camera, or if you really wanted, 1GB of MS Word files since it has MS Office suite for WM6.

To be honest, it's an amazing phone, I just can't get along with WM6, I never could get along with Windows PDAs, I just thought all the +points would overshadow my frustrations, but turns out they couldn't. If you have no qualms with WM6 then it's formidable.

Unfortunately I'm looking for a bit more than £100, I could let it go for £150, which is a fair bit cheaper than on eBay and it's in brilliant condition.

best pda type phone in my opinion is the HTC tytn11, getting cheaper now 2nd hand. has tousch screen, and slid out hidden full sized qwerty keyboard. i had one and is a fantastic phone, works with windows, better than blackberry and could use blacklberry feature with contract sim not paygo, as orange dont support that on paygo. ( i used to work for them. )i only sold mine recently, had it on here but no takers so i swapped it for laptop.

oh and it has wifi , so free browsing yey

Orbit 2 is a newer phone than Tytyn II, it negates the need for the qwerty keyboard, so it's thinner and lighter. if you want a qwerty keyboard and don't like using a stylus, then there's loads of upgrades you can install on the Orbit 2 for finger friendly qwerty typing.
