Some of you might have seen the rebuild of my S engine in the "engine rebuild section". i installed the engine in the car in the spring of 2008 and enjoyed it all summer until some young oncoming moron in his dad's merc decided to cut me off and ended my mini season early. luckily the damage was only to the right wing, not to the engine or frame.
So, i've decided to take this opportunity to strip the car to a bare shell, fix the rust issues and get it painted a single color.

anybody know if these chrome trim rivet snaps are available new?
too many projects...
underneath the gas tank, not bad at all
not too bad here either
i'm making my way from the rear to the front, i think i'll have all the interior out tomorrow.
more later!

thanks guys! i tried somerfords for the fake wood, since this was NLA i didnt think to ask for the rivets clips...
bobo, thanks for the offer but they're pretty quick to reply to emails so i'll try that first.
i removed the entire loom last night, along with the windshield, dash and gauges. Next step the engine & rad, then the brake lines, the 2 subframes and finally the steering and column.
here's some pics of the latest progress:
