woohoo!
a friend of mine is a Jewellery designer (pyjoaillier.com), he owed me one so i had him make me this little plaque which was first intended to go on the rocker cover, but now i think it might just be too nice to put there, might end up on the rear door... its etched stainless.

i love it!

the last thing i have to do to finish the "first stage" of the restoration is the custom one piece rear bumper.
there's a lot of other stuff i plan to do eventually, but at least i got to drive it all summer and it was awesome.

Now most of my free time will be spent on my "new" Race Mini, hopefully i can try out properly on the track before the snow starts to fall. first i have to make new brackets for the seat, replace a wheel stud on one of the rear wheel and bleed the brake lines... more on that eventually!

Really is a lovely Mini, not sure I could drive with my song playingthough. I'd be terrified of hitting a bulldozer.
