SaxoFiestaMini did a good and simple guide for adjusting tappets, but I'm not sure if it's any different for an MPi?

I'll dig it out for ya'.

I've used this link for info on mini maintenance. Here's the one for the tappets:

hi the gap on a mpi is 0.35mm ~ 0.40mm and its easier to turn it over by putting the car in 4th and pulling it forward with the handbrake off, simples lol

0.05
0.15
0.25
0.30
0.50
0.70

I have one of those metric gauges, with that i use 0,40, but be sure tappets are tight and engine is actually cold. By the way 15 thou is 0,38mm..

Halfords do both metric and imperial sets of feeler gauges i anyone can't get hold of imperial ones.
