When I bought it off a friends wife she called it Brian after Brian Clough, with minis and all the trouble I had with it in the beginning I thought this would be an apt name for the forum

My Brian is Brian the snail from the magic roundabout ...

While I’m on here .....

There are plans afoot ( just when you thought it was over )

Plan 1 will be completed over winter . Clue - styling

Plan 2 will be completed over winter - clue - jobs I’ve avoided completing

Plan 3 - long term ( saving pennies ) . Clue - mechanical

Will keep you posted of plan 1 as it evolves

Will also post updates of other mini/ cars as those jobs are stacking up

Nope .....

In the middle of my yearly / monthly rebuild of split rims ... decided to swap wheels over

Just shows I got the wheel choice right the first time , but also interesting to look at offset of wheels - larger 13” rims with wider 175 tyres don’t fill the arches as well as smaller wheels .

Mini 40 still on Jack as calliper doesn’t clear wheel, so can’t put any weight on it - but gives a good idea of width
