Going to try heat first because I have a blow torch to hand. I do have som easy-outs but I haven't seen them for months. Might have to buy another set.

Didn't use heat in the end. Started drilling a hole for the easy-out, thought it was going to snap, then eventually drilled the whole thing out.
Want to get the subframe sand blasted before painting it and building it up but that won't happen as I'm heading back to uni on friday.
I am however, getting AN fittings welded onto my tank so I modified that ready to be welded.

Had some welding done by MattG from 16vminiclub:
Also managed to remove the snapped studs in my subframe. Want to get it blasted then painted but that'll have to wait until I'm next home

I also came home to find the box my megasquirt is stored in was sodden so after seeking advice it should be ok once I've dried it out. Some have even said that theirs have been exposed to a fair bit of moisture and it was fine.

Been home for a few days but all I've really managed to do is get my rear subframe shot blasted and made a pair of gussets for it.
Going to drill a few holes in the subframe and seam weld it for good measure too.

My the liner in my welder has gone and a new one came today. Let's just say I eff'ed it and now I need to wait for a new one.
Made a start on my MK1 sliding window conversion but no welding means all I've done is cut a strip of steel ready for when the welder is back in action.
I did however manage to make my steering column bracket. Again, this is all preparation for when the cage and dash bar get welded in.
I've also got myself a job after finishing Uni so I'll be moving to Bristol and hopefully, not long after I've settled in, the mini should be coming with me.

Unfortunately not. I've moved out and to the other side of the country and cannot afford a garage to keep this in.
May have a tiny update next week though

Not sure yet. I keep trying to do small bits and keep buying bits so that when I finally get it up here, progress should be quick.
I'm gettin withdrawal symptoms though ;) haha

Got my inlet manifold flange through the post from CANNON on here. Quickly popped the inlet rubber I have on there. Need to tap the holes and then start matching the ports. Will take quite a while seeing as I have no power tools right now.
That's all I've really been doing since the last update.

Started to port the inlet runners to the manifold.
Before:
Pretty much there:
I was featured as Status Error's Car Of The Month so they sent me a free T shirt and stickers. I also bought a pack of Speed Hunters ones and used them to make a little decoration for some of little bits and pieces I've been buying:
Going to try and sneak the inlet flange into work next week to drill and tap mounting holes for the runners but thats it for now.
