34, North Wales,
1971 Mini 1000, all mods declared = £217 IIRC ;)

All mods include harnesses, buckets, different exhaust, 4 pot calipers, ride height, camber, castor adjustable, custom interior, different alloys, different arches, different grille, CF bonnet, CF bootlid, different engine (approx. 140-150bhp I told them to be safe) 1.6 16v Vauxhall engine with upgraded inlet and exhaust manifolds and replacement fuel injection/management....all declared.

Edit: Mine is fully comp, agreed value policy, trackday cover and European roadtrip cover included (though the excess is £500 for either of those, normal excess is £150) and it's also got Green Flag cover that I don't need as I'm in the AA.....and not because of a drinking problem! :teehee:

Oh, and it's free to tax too! :P

Adding an older driver with good experience and no claims will drop insurance premiums.... get yerself an older partner and it'll do wonders! :P

It all goes on postcodes too. if you live in an area where the postcode is a hotspot for thefts then this affects premiums.

£450 fully comp with 6 years no claims protection, legal cover, agreed valuation and mi' ol' Mum as secondary driver.

Limited to 3000 miles for the year, locked in the garage, live in the middle of nowhere (think Hot Fuzz... not been a murder here in 600 years touch).

When I lived in the city in my late teens/ early 20's my insurance was expensive but when I moved out to the sticks it suddenly became a hell of a lot cheaper

.....& so far appear to be winning the lowest premium part of the contest!! :D

+

im 31 and fully comp was £92 for the year

= Dammit!!! >_<

Age 46, 998 City E, Modified with all mods declared. Agreed value, UL mileage inc commuting, European breakdown etc. Paid £230 last year (due again in May)

Year before only paid £137 but they had me down as garaged & it's not.

Oh for a rural postcode.................

Forgot to mention that I only have 1 yr NCB on that. Not that I have claimed ever, just been driving company motors for the last 15 years.

Oh and postcode does make a huge difference, especially when not garaged overnight. Mines a Manchester one, Car crime captial of the north - joy :)

40 years old, Oxford. Policy with my husband on it too, we both have clean licences.

6 standard Minis on the policy, comprehensive, agreed values, European breakdown, unlimited mileage (to be fair, there’s a limit to how much we can drive them all – also have two daily drivers). Three different places that they can be kept/stored (don’t have room for them all at home!) £673
