here is my 1963 mk1, this ones been a long project hitting about 5 years now and god knows im about 6k poorer, lots of new panels respray back to orgional colour of egg shell blue with black roof - origionall i intended to keep the rebuild very simple and ithink it still is but ive added a lot more than i intended - the spec is as follows
> new inner and outer a panels and wings, origional front panel new door skins and hinges
> painted in the origional egg shell blue with deep black roof
> new rear subby with all new components inc radius arms
> colour coded back plates with mini fins
> dsn classics trunions with red bushes all round
> sand blasted and powdercoated front subby with -
> all adjustable heavy duty tie bars and bottom arms
> blasted and coated top arms with new pins
> ally sump gaurd
> bored to 1293 t3 turbo with renault 5 gt turbo ally intercooler, should produce 120bhp at 10psi, forged iasa pistons, stage 2 head, 276 cam, reground balanced crank and straight cut gears with central oil pickup - i wanted to keep it a driver but still be able to have a good play from time to time
> ally rad with electric cooling fan fitted
> dsn bolt os everywhere under the bonnet
> brand new loop
> spi tank
> hilos all round
> gaz shocks
> 10x6 deep dish rev
> 4 pot ally callipers and colour coded stainless brake lines all over
> norris minor dash (sounds wierd but it reallt works) cut to be a perfect fit
> magnolia clock
> incar bleed valve
> remote servo
> 16 point roll cage
thats all i can think of but im sure theres more

]been very busy lately so progress has been very slow but some new additions the engine is in and as suspected the bulkhead box doesnt clear the uprated actuator so i chopped out a section of the bulkhead - as much as it pains me to do so on a freshly painted engine bay, firstly the front subby had to come out as the steering rack had developed a severe leakage since being off road

so the bulkhead was stone chipped and painted to match the car and all the recon subby with all new parts was bolted on

ive been tryin to keep the whole build quite simple in colour but i think the red bushes set it off nicely and the blue brake lines look pretty good

this weekend hit a wall, tried to get the back plates off to give them a proper coat of paint and the inner race of the bearing has pressed itself onto the shafft of the radius arm - no idea how to get it off apart from lots of heat, so if anyone has got a technique pleeeeaaasse lemme know !!!!

Surely a normal bearing puller would do the job? i assume the hub has come off and left the bearing on the shaft? If not, either way the bearing puller should work fine either on the back of the hub or the bearing.

And while on the subject, we still have an engine that needs a few parts ;D, Get in touch to see if we can get things finalised, as i dont want Michael to run on boost while his existing engine is temporarily Turbo'd. You know what youngsters are likely to do while Dad is not looking. :D

Failing a bearing puller, cut one side of the inner race with a die grinder or good Dremel and it will pull of easily. Don't use heat unless you really have to.

You could always pop over with the arm and i can pop it off for you.
